Ordering, Delivery and Returns Policy

Delivery Information

NOTE: Same Day Delivery - We offer same day delivery by contact less couriers of all products in the Wellington region. We offer same day delivery New Zealand wide Monday to Friday for flower orders only. If you are wanting to send any of our non flower products outside of Wellington then please see the below outside of Wellington delivery times. Saturday deliveries must be placed by 3pm on Friday and incur an extra $5 courier surcharge. Orders must be placed by 12 pm for same day deliveries to metropolitan areas on Monday to Friday. We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays with the exception of Mothers Day Sunday and Valentines Day Sunday.

CURRENT COVID 19 COURIER DELIVERY DELAYS

All independent courier companies are currently experiencing up to 4 to 5 hour delays in delivering items due to COVID 19 Supply chain issues.

Wellington same day delivery will still occur on the specific date selected however with the current courier company  delays your item may not be picked up and then delivered by the courier companies until later in the day or evening. Please let us know if your gift needs to be delivered by a specific time in the day due to it being a business address or if  the person is finishing work at a particular time etc. We will try our best to work with the courier companies to have your gift delivered as soon as possible.  

Most consumers have been shopping online throughout New Zealand choosing delivery options opposed to walking into physical retail stores, overloading courier drivers with significantly more deliveries to make each day causing delivery delays for all items throughout New Zealand.

Best of the Bunch Florist Wellington have a priority arrangement with our courier company partners for same day delivery. We will prepare and have your gift ready for delivery as early as possible in the day.

Our Standard Delivery Fee is $15 by courier for Monday to Friday deliveries. Outside of Wellington deliveries incur an extra $5 courier surcharge. Please contact us if you have any special requirements.

RURAL DELIVERIES: Due to the courier company policies rural deliveries may incur extra charges and take longer to deliver. Please contact us before placing a rural delivery order to check availability.. 

An order confirmation will be emailed to you upon Best of the Bunch receiving your order.

All gifts are delivered by "track and trace" courier.

Please insure the delivery address is correct, and is a physical location. PO Box number are NOT acceptable for delivery address details. Best of the Bunch cannot take any responsibility for incorrect delivery details received, and consequent costs that may be incurred.

Deliveries to apartments.

Please insure someone will be home on the expected day of delivery. Due to security and access codes in apartment building it can make it difficult for couriers to gain access. Best of the Bunch recommend you supply the gift recipient's phone number to assist with any delivery difficulties. Ensure details of floor number, unit number, street address apartment name are included in your recipient's delivery address details.

Rural deliveries:

Due to the courier company policies rural deliveries may incur extra charges and take longer to deliver. Please contact us before placing a rural delivery order to check availability.. 

All rural areas please allow an extra 24 hours to 72 hours depending on New Zealand courier company scheduled courier runs. Please contact us.

Delivery Pricing 

Our Standard Delivery Fee is $15 for Wellington deliveries and $20 for outside of Wellington and Saturday deliveries. (Non rural) Please contact us for rural deliveries before placing your order or if you have any special requirements

North Island & South Island Deliveries 

All non flower North Island deliveries to areas outside of Wellington please allow an extra one to three working days depending on New Zealand courier company scheduled courier runs.
All non flower South Island deliveries please allow an extra three to five working days depending on New Zealand courier company scheduled courier runs.
For all North Island or South Island flower deliveries (flowers only we may be able to offer same day delivery or overnight deliveries through our network of partner florists if placed by 12pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Our substitution policy applies. Please contact us.

Urgent Deliveries

If you require an urgent, last minute delivery call us on 04 4999 005 and we will endeavour to arrange a delivery as quickly as we can. Best of the Bunch can give you an estimated delivery time and additional cost based on current couriers schedules and pickup times.

International Deliveries

Flowers can be sent with same day or overnight delivery to most countries Internationally through our international flower network providing orders are received by 12pm Monday to Friday. Please contact us to place these orders by phone on 04 4999 005 or email us: sales@bestofthebunch.co.nz

Please also contact us if you require international delivery of any of our non flower products.

Delivery issues

Best of the Bunch uses "track and trace" courier for delivery. Should your product not arrive on the expected day, call us immediately on 04 4999 005 or email us: sales@bestofthebunch.co.nz and we will ensure the delivery is resolved, or a new item will be sent

Delivery Times

All metropolitan areas within the North Island - we will attempt to deliver same day or  'next day' delivery Monday to Friday 

All metropolitan areas within the South Island - '48 hour' to '72 hour' delivery Monday to Friday.

All rural areas please allow an extra 24 hours to 72 hours depending on New Zealand courier company scheduled courier runs. Please contact us.

We will endeavour to deliver all goods as quickly as possible however delivery times are dependent upon courier schedules, especially at peak times such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Father's Day.

There are no deliveries Sundays and public holidays with the exception of Mother's Day Sunday. Any orders placed during the weekend will be dispatched on the first available weekday.

Returns & Refunds policy guarantee

Best of the Bunch is committed to providing quality products to our customers. If for any reason your gift arrives damaged or not in perfect condition it may be exchanged for another gift to the same value, or a refund will be issued.

Please phone or email us to arrange a courier of the gift back to Best of the Bunch, New Zealand Rugby House, 100 Molesworth Street, Thorndon, Wellington, 6011, New Zealand within 48 hours of receipt. Returned gifts must be unused and sent with an explanation for your return. Please phone or email Best of the Bunch on 04 4999 005 or sales@bestofthebunch.co.nz if you have any queries or to commence the return process.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund back onto your card etc.

Some products are currently unavailable


During COVID 19 Much of the supply chain is shut down on a global level and restrictions are in place, therefore we do not have access to every product that we normally would. When you go onto our website, you’ll find some of the products are for now, unavailable or sold out for purchase, however for every product that you can’t access, we have some great alternatives - we are here to help find an option that works for you. Substitution policy

While we will attempt to use the exact, products and containers pictured, we reserve the right to make fair and reasonable substitutions according to the practical availability or seasonality of specific products and containers. In the case where a specific product or colour is unavailable, substitutions may be made within the product to achieve the same overall shape, style, colour effect and taste to ensure that the order is delivered on time.

Quality  

Throughout New Zealand seasonal and regional conditions may affect the supply and cost of products. In these circumstances Best of the Bunch reserve the right to make appropriate substitutions whilst maintaining the same value of your order.

Containers                                                                                 

Where possible a particular container or basket ordered will be supplied. Should these not be available, then alternative containers of a similar value and style may be substituted.

Best of the Bunch guarantees your information is not sold, traded, or disclosed to any third party other than our marketing platform partners on your subscription permission. Information stored for membership purposes is used for communications and marketing material solely from Best of the Bunch and our listed marketing platform partners on your subscription permission.

Online Security Policy - Your credit card details

Best of the Bunch works with Windcave Payment systems to provide a completely secure payment system. Windcave is one of New Zealand's leading online payment solutions and are a Paymark Certified Solutions Provider. https://www.windcave.com Your credit card details are processed via encrypted, 128-bit SLL security by Paystation and are not stored or viewed by Best of the Bunch or any of our other partners at any stage of the transaction process to provide a secure payment system.

Payment Policy

All prices are quoted in NZ Dollars. Prices displayed on each product are per item and GST inclusive. All delivery (courier) charges are included (unless specially requested) and added prior to the checkout process.

Orders paid for by internet banking, Eftpos and cash will be processed and delivered upon receipt. Please call our shop to discuss this payment option.

 

Purchase of Alcohol

It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. If we are in doubt about the purchaser’s age, we will ask for identification. Acceptable forms of proof of age are a photo driver’s licence, an 18+ Evidence of Age card or a current passport.

By placing an order containing alcohol you confirm you are over the age of 18.
