Aronui Nelson Pinot Gris

This wine is bright pale green in the grass with a subtle hint of copper expected from pinot gris. The nose is intensely fruity with lush notes of pear, spice, apple and baked pastry. Elegant and focused on the palate the wine has lots of fresh fruit concentration with more pears, apples and some mango and peach notes.

Weighty and textural from extended lees ageing and a barrel component there is an underlying phenolic structure that leads the wine into a long dry finish balanced by a touch of residual, natural sweetness.
