A Deep red with a purple hue. The wine displays intensely varietal aromas of stewed plum, blackberry, licorice and violets. Oak characters such as tobacco and chocolate add to the wines complexity. A full bodied wine, it has rich blackberry fruit and spice evident throughout the palate. Ground coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and cedar characters combinewell with the primary fruit characters, to create a complex flavour profile. The wine has good balance and excellent length and is subtly warming towards the finish
