Craggy Range Single Vineyard Hawke's Bay Chardonnay is an ever so lightly oaked Chardonnay styled akin the great golden drops of Chablis, and like Chablis has a massive influence from the seaside.

Look for pure Chardonnay grape flavours of grapefruit, peaches with hints of almond and the ever present mouthwatering salty/briney characters from the coast, where as you guessed it - the perfect food match also hails from.

This coastal vineyard of Kidnappers delivers a fantastic crop to craft a Chardonnay in its purest naked form. As one of the finest NZ examples of 'lightly' oaked Chardonnay around the Kidnappers Vineyard Chardonnay does a great job emulating the Chardonnay experiences of Chablis. Focusing on the pure flavours of the Chardonnay grape Kidnappers employs old large oak barrels for maturation only.

The end experience delivers an abundance of grapefruit, peaches, with hints of almond, and of course a mouthwatering briney character only a seaside vineyard can deliver. So you guessed it - the perfect food match will hail from the sea.
